Directed by Andrew Lau and starring Ekin Cheng as Wind and Aaron Kwok as Cloud, the story follows two powerful warriors raised by an evil warlord to fulfill his dark ambitions—only for destiny and betrayal to pit them against him and each other. The film broke new ground in Hong Kong cinema with its heavy use of CGI, creating a stylized, almost anime-like atmosphere.
